What we collect
- The name you type when you create or join a room. Other players in that room can see it on the leaderboard.
- Your game progress in a room: which clues you solved, your hints, your score and your sealed accusation.
- Technical data needed to run the service, such as your IP address, which our hosting provider may keep in short-lived logs and which we use to limit how many rooms one address can create.
- If you buy an unlock code: the email address you give us (to send you the code), the code, the plan, and the payment reference and amount. Card, UPI and bank details go straight to the payment company (Razorpay) and never reach us.
To play, we do not ask for your email, phone number, contacts, location or photos. There are no accounts.
What stays on your phone
Your notes, your settings, the rooms you have played, and your Solo Cases progress are saved only on your own device. We never receive them.
How long we keep it
Room data is deleted automatically about one day after a room was last used. Player records are deleted after about three days. Purchase records (code, plan, email, payment reference) are kept for as long as the law requires for accounts, usually up to 8 years in India.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. It is stored with our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Upstash) only so the game can work. Payments are handled by Razorpay or Stripe, and code emails are sent through our email provider. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Children
The game contains crime and murder themes and is meant for players aged 13 and over.
